It is possible to get events from and talk to the GPIO device without XTension via JSON web commands and a Server Events stream.

  * GET call to /api/data for [[kits:gpio:api:data|current state and available endpoints]].
  * [[kits:gpio:api:gpio|Control GPIO Outputs]] via GET request to /api/gpio
  * Get realtime updates via the [[kits:gpio:api:events|Server Events Stream]].
